Save the date for NCIM’s next Integrative Health Forum which is focusing on Integrative Approaches to Chronic Pain. Pain plays a part in so many people’s lives and so understanding a range of approaches within the Integrative Medicine model that might support people to live with their chronic pain more easily or to find relief, is vital in healthcare. As ever NCIM will bring together a programme that reflects the diversity of approaches that might prove useful in the management of chronic pain and groundbreaking neuroscience that could help patients and clinicians re-frame the nature of chronic pain.
They have three fantastic speakers confirmed so far Dr Deepak Ravindran Clinical Lead for the Department of Pain Medicine at the Royal Berkshire Hospital and author of The Pain Free Mindset, Dr Sarah Monz Anaesthetist and Pain Specialist and Clinical Hypnotherapist Dr Nikki Chatfield.
