Immerse yourself in a transformative experience at The Master Series Oxford 2024, the foremost conference on trauma and mental health in Europe. Engage with visionary thought leaders, practitioners, and researchers for an exceptional blend of networking and professional/personal development.

Whether you’re a psychologist, psychotherapist, psychiatrist, medical doctor, body worker, educator, counsellor, researcher, mental health advocate, or someone eager to expand their understanding of trauma and mental health, this event is a cornerstone of knowledge.

This year, we are thrilled to unveil a new addition to our agenda – one-day pre-conference immersion workshops. These workshops offer a unique opportunity to dedicate an entire day to learning directly from trailblazers such as Gabor Maté, Bessel van der Kolk, Janina Fisher, Richard Schwartz, and more*.

With your conference ticket you will be able to access a full day of in-person pre-conference education with your selected thought leader. You will also have access to the recordings of all other pre-conference workshops included in your one conference ticket.

Embark on an unparalleled educational journey with us at The Master Series Oxford 2024.

Rupture and Repair

The theme of The Master Series: Oxford 2024 is Rupture and Repair; a theme which highlights our commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion. If we do not work to repair the ruptures in the field of trauma and mental health, we will inevitably contribute to them.

Reflecting on The Master Series: Oxford 2023, we saw a vibrant community sharing profound wisdoms. However, we also saw something else, we saw ruptures in the field of trauma and mental health. In a moving turn of events our wonderful community spoke to us and showed us opportunities for repair.

Within the realm of trauma and mental health, critical ruptures exist, encompassing issues of marginalization and discrimination, the inaccessibility of trauma treatment, and the prioritization of the ‘greater good’ over unique individual needs.

So, in a departure from the fear of ‘getting it wrong’ we are proudly dedicating ourselves to identities, populations, communities and concepts that are all too often silenced. We extend an invitation for collaboration in reshaping this field. Your feedback, thoughts, and criticism are invaluable as we strive for positive change.

By delving into the nuances of rupture, we aim to create a space for introspection and empathy, fostering a deeper connection within our community.

Repair is not possible without rupture. The Master Series: Oxford 2024 will be a platform for healing, mending, and rebuilding through dialogue, learning, and collaboration, where we collectively explore ways to contribute to positive change.
