We are offering a retreat day for health care colleagues to gather together to practice and experience the benefits of mindfulness inspired yoga. The day is open to those with some experience of yoga and those with regular practice. We will provide an introduction to yoga as a therapeutic and holistic discipline for physical and mental health. Practices will include postures and movement, breath work along with mindfulness meditations interspersed with short reflections to support well-being. Yoga is re-vitalizing and relaxing and together with meditation helps us to pause and touch the world with fresh appreciation so that we may connect to our senses and a deeper sense of self within.
Please bring a vegetarian lunch to share. Refreshments will be provided.
Please also bring your own yoga mat, block and blanket, notebook and pen. (A few mats and blocks will be available).
